Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Restita DeJesus has been practicing martial arts since 1978. She holds ranks and certifications in Butokukan Karate, Chuan Fa-Wun Hop Kuen Do, Cacoy Doce Pares Eskrima, Pangamot, Eskrido (and art founded by the late Grandmaster Cacoy Canete), a blend of Southeast Asian fighting methods from “FMAA” (Filipino Martial Arts Academy), Wushu, Chen Tai Chi and Yang Tai Chi. She is the chief host of “Dynamic Dojo Talkradio” on and owner/Chief Instructor of Seattle Wushu Center. In her spare time her hobbies include motorcycle riding, macrame with paracord, bullwhip cracking, slingshot shooting, blowgun shooting and knife throwing.
